some artists get more commerical play than they deserve because they are more ‘relate-able’ whatever- we all have music that moves us. i am very much diversified. i listen to EVERYTHING.
however, my most favorite mainstream artist, goes by the name of marshall mathers. thats right. mainstream hip-hop. i’ve been a steady, loyal fan since he came out 10 years ago. he’s witty, intelligent, funny and i just love him. if he were a beatle, he’d have been my most favorite beatle. like honestly, if i ever had a last wish granted for me, it would be to have a conversation with him.
yes, there are so many talented people out there, but honestly, i could live off of his albums, and his albums alone, for the rest of my life & be perfectly content.

Maroon 5 dude is a little over bearing, very over the top; a very nice guy, but I feel like he tries TO HARD.
Black Eyed Peas dude is taking me to dinner this saturday, based on how that goes, I will decide wether or not to take him up on his offer. He works in the music biz so at the very least, maybe we can remain friends, he is a sweet guy and super interested - he asks me about 948349384 questions a day; Patti Stanger says “when he asks a million questions, he’s looking for a wife” & I totally agree -
Lately i’ve been on this whole “i don’t want to date anyone” kick; for no particular reason, as I am enjoying being selfish. I also feel like dating is so similar to going on a job interview - you ask the questions you’re most interested in & right now, there’s only so much a girl could handle.
I definitely know what I am looking for & if i don’t feel a connection right away, I don’t bother entertaining the idea that “it will come” as there is one important thing I have learned & that is you cant fake chemistry and as sweet as it may be to think that feelings will just develop I don’t believe that to be true.
I have a feeling Maroon 5 won’t happen. I am regretting the decision to see him already. He gives me anxiety.
